Web Design Projects

Web Design can be great!

I’ll be honest, building a website can be a right pain in the backside!

Away from the technical side of building websites, I do love to create the perfect web design to represent your business. For most businesses, having a website is very important. Whether it’s to sell products online, driving people to get in touch or just show off what you do, websites allow businesses to give people the chance to become clients/customers without much effort!

At F8 Creates (the day job), we build WordPress websites using a theme builder called Divi. Using Divi to build our websites allows us to do so many cool and on trend things without the need to code! The beauty of Divi as well is that it allows our clients to edit their own sites when needed because of how easy it is to use.

We start our web design process by building a wireframe. This involves setting up all the pages and putting in the content. The most important thing about the wireframe process is getting the user journey right. There’s no point having a website without clear call to actions on what you want people to do. After the wireframe is nailed, then comes the fun of implementing the visual identity so the website is on brand.
